Order Description:

Below are 2 seperate instruction for 2 seperate assignments. The first instructions for the writing exercise you have already completed in a previous order this should have been the first step before completing it. The second instructions I completed the assignmrnt which is attached i just need you to edit it and add in-text citations from the previous annotations. Writing exercise creating paragraphs with quote integration and in-text citation. Rationale: One of the core structural elements of content presentation in scholarly writing is a well-structured paragraph with integrated quotation and paraphrasing. Obviously, ineffective paragraphs will cause problems for the reader of your work, but a more fundamental has to do with the limitations weak paragraphs introduce to your own analysis as you go through the process of drafting your work. To write clearly is to think clearly, and if you are not able to get your brilliant slivers of genius down on paper in a way that will make sense the next day, or the next week when you need to work with those ideas, they will be muddled and vague. Deciphering ineffective paragraphs is like trying to remember the fading details of a dream. You will be spinning your analytical wheels. In terms of scholarly writing, effective paragraph construction with the integration of quotes is an essential skill. Plopping a quote – a complete sentence – in the middle of a paragraph builds no connection between the central theme of your paragraph and the meaning of the quote. In terms of meaning, you need to introduce the quote and bring it into your own analysis. In terms of style, it needs to be part of a grammatically correct sentence. Details: Practice makes perfect. Create heading titled “Five Paragraphs Integrating Quotes”. Select at least five (5) of the quotes and integrate them into 5 full paragraphs using your summaries and paraphrases. You may need to revise the paragraph to effectively incorporate the quotes. Each paragraph should include a topic sentence without a direct quotation. Quoted material should be incorporated into a sentence of your own, and include a complete in-text citation. Each paragraph should have a concluding sentence with no direct quotation. For example: [A topic sentence framing the general point of the paragraph and providing a context for the quote]. Indeed, Mills (1959) suggests that we should view everyday life as an “intersection of biography and history within society” (p. 3). In essence, we are… [a concluding sentence wrapping up the idea]. Interdisciplinarity of your topic. The purpose of this assignment is to describe the link between interdisciplinarity and your topic and why interdisciplinarity is important to your research. As a result, describe the ways in which your research will integrate knowledge, information and insights from varying disciplines in order to gain a holistic, nuanced and sophisticated understanding of your topic. Make the case that your research agenda requires such an approach. Identify specific disciplines relevant to your research (sociology, psychology, economics, political sciences, etc.) along with two or three sentences, or a paragraph, explaining how that specific discipline contributes to your research agenda. Use in-text citations to support your writing. Consult the Formal Academic Skills (FAS) module on interdisciplinarity for guiding materials and information on this section of the Prospectus. Also, refer to the disciplinary information included in each of your Annotations. Submit a draft of your Interdisciplinarity section of the Prospectus. Title the page accordingly. You will add this to your Prospectustemplate. Include at least 5 references to support interdisciplinarity nature of your research. Include the references in APA format to your reference page.
