Use the “Consolidated” or the “Group” information (ignore the “Parent” column) for Briscoe Group Limited to calculate/find the ratios as given on the Formula Sheet which you think are applicable to Briscoe. Once you are logged in, go to Search on the top right-hand corner and search for “BGR”. From there, you will be able to find the information you need. If the figures you use to calculate the ratios are not from the face of the financial statements, or if you think some ratios are not applicable to Briscoe, give explanations or references. 2. Provide a detailed report to a client whether Briscoe would make a good investment. In your answer you should use the calculated ratios and/or other techniques from week 6’s classes and other information you think is important in the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Annual Reports or from other additional sources relevant to Briscoe. Your assessment should comprise 3 sections: 1) Introduction; 2) Analysis of the profitability, efficiency, liquidity, gearing, and investment across the financial years from 2015 to 2017, inclusive; 3) Any other information that influenced your investment decision, and your conclusions. 3.
