Making a Murder Documentary Analysis
The film focusses on the murder charges against Steven Avery who was arrested and charged with the crime that he didn’t commit according to the film. The documentary doesn’t hang around his guilt or innocence but rather focus on the manner in which investigation was conducted. It presents the way in which the evidence was presented as well as the prosecutor process, and this is one of the reasons why the documentary shouldn’t have worked, but it was successful anyways. According to the documentary the police did follow the right procedure while conducting investigations and this contributed to wrongful conviction of the defendant. The documentary shouldn’t have been a success as it focused on one side of the coin which is wrong.
