Management of conflicts requires knowledge of the source of the conflict, what type it is and the reason and means through which it has arisen. A good leader should utilize the qualities of having good communication, being honest and assertiveness so as to inspire other members of their team and motivate them leading to better morale and functionality. Being transformational through the resolution of issues rather than transactional by only telling people what they should do is more effective. In a healthcare workplace as an organization, change cannot be avoided and in anticipating it, good management of any conflict that may arise from it can be used positively to move the organization forward.
