Impacts of terrorism on human rights Abstract Terrorism has both direct and indirect effects on human rights. As terrorism is becoming more widespread and systematic it’s becoming a significant threat to human rights throughout the world. Terrorism has evolved from the 70’s to modern forms which are more organized financially stable and coordinated organizations targeting thousands of civilians in as casualties kidnappings murder and sexual abuse which is a great violation of human rights. However despite its real threat to the human rights directly the way in which some state agencies deal it is critical in ensuring the success of the efforts directed towards anti-terrorism and can define its success or failure. Anti-terrorism measures which do not adhere to the fundamental human rights undermine the efforts in developing efficient and practical anti-terrorism efforts. There is therefore a need for comprehensive research on the impacts of terrorism on human rights 2015. "Overview: Terrorism in 2014 Background Report" 1-6. www.start.umd.edu Özgüler Mustafa. 2009.
