The film is about an FBI trainee named Clarice Starling who is assigned the task of interviewing Hannibal Lecture in a bid to help uncover the leads that would help apprehend Buffalo Bill. Starling works under Dr. Frederick Chilton who takes her to Lecter’s cell and she tries to get information from him but she fails. She however and how the murders are related to one killer who leaves a trail. For instance when she finds the Senator’s daughter there is a sphinx moth indicating that this was the same person who was responsible for the body she had discovered earlier in the storage area.
