According to previous research, there is a clear reason to maintain bilingual and dual programs over English program only and these will help them attain and achieve more. The major obstacles in implementing this program on a large scale are bilingual politics and few qualified teachers. Bilingualism and multilingualism would have been nurtured in the US students provided the state education policies assisted the multilingualism. INTRODUCTION Today, in the US, the bilingual education system has progressively become more popular and in addition to this, the programs are available in the United States public schools. Nevertheless, there are some specific areas in the US where bilingual programs are not allowed. The students that had previously taken the "Bilingual Target Language Prurience Test (BTLPT)" did participate individually in the interviews that were semi-structured.

The researcher interviewed the students' face-to-face. Some bilingual teachers also took part in the exam. The semi-structured interview took about 15 minutes. The responder was allowed to communicate through the interview in a language he preferred most. The participants had the best writing skills in the English language where it was about 69% of the total participants. Nearly half of the respondents at 48% were to able to participate academically in both languages. Those at home who spoke to their relatives in Spanish were recorded to be at 49% and this was majorly influenced by the fact that most of their relatives rarely spoke in English or they were not fluent in English.
