The issue of the elderly in the community has been a serious issue of concern in my life. I have been wondering what happens to many elderly people who do not have a family to support them. I have also visited various elderly homes and I did not like how they are handled. This has made me keep wondering the future of my parents and also my future when I will not have the ability to take full care of myself. This has made me have a personal and huge interest on this topic. My key research questions as far as the topic is concerned include; how the needs of the elderly can be met the preferences of the seniors when it comes to housing services that seniors are there is a need for an urgent action. The elderly need to be catered for since currently the elderly are neglected in the world and mostly in Africa and Asia continents.
