Name: Professors name: Subject: Date: Evolution theory Apparently many theories have been formulated concerning the existence of the universe and how life and other forms came to be. Some of these theories include mythical theories for instance the Egyptians mythological theory religious theories for instance Christians base their theory on biblical creation theory found in the book of genesis of the bible and finally the theory which has managed to stand out significantly being the evolution theory. The term evolution has been described as the gradual development of plants and animals over specific time period and how these organisms have been able to adapt to specific changes in the environment (oxford dictionary 7th edition).the evolution theory bases its ideas that species are usually related in nature and tends to undergo gradual changes over time period. The term evolution is a combination of two Latin words e meaning from and new genotype can be added to another existing gene to yield an organism with increased variability within the population. Thirdly the theory dwells on heredity where there can be transmition of characteristics from the mother offspring to its offspring so as to make the offspring have advantageous characteristics similar to the parents. Finally the theory dwells on isolation which refers to the process of isolating an organism from its species so as to have genetic variability.
