Introduction to APA Citation Style
The formatting of the title page should follow a certain order where the title of the page should come first. The student's name and institution should then follow. These details should be at the center of the page. The header should contain the words "Running head" followed by a full colon and the title of the paper in caps (American Psychological Association, 2001). On the second page, the header should only consist of the title of the paper in caps. In-text citation includes the author's first name and the year of publication. This is done for the books or articles that have not more than three authors and when the number increases, the citations change to include et al. , as a way of including other authors (Matkovich, 2012).
