To Fit or Not to Fit Name Institution Affiliation Introduction Homosexuality is a term that is used to describe people who are sexually attracted to individuals of the same sex. Homosexuality is a behavior that is adopted by the people after they are born. According to western culture heterosexuality is acquired naturally during birth. This implies that individuals are attracted to individuals of opposite sex. However those who engage in homosexual behavior are assumed to be making unnatural and deviant choices (Netting et al. 2011). Gaysm is a homosexual behavior whereby men get attracted to one another. Historically homosexuality (men) was accepted and widely applied in the ancient Greece. However approving of the same sex attraction was not an Athenian idiosyncrasy. The same applied to Sparta and other neighboring city-states. Homosexuality (men) was widely spread in England during the nineteenth century. The England community was highly homophobic and the gays is the lack of someone who can show them some love. Conclusion The community should first of all accept gays in the society so that those involved can experience a sense of loving. Majority of men become gay because of lack of someone who can show them some love. If the community can accept them back into the society they might change and become important to the society. Gays should also be treated equally like the others both at work and home. They are at risk of losing their jobs and their status in case they are suspected to be gay. The community should therefore promise them permanent jobs regardless of their sexual practices. This is the only way of integrating them back into the society. Reference Netting F. E. McMurtry S. L.
