The article reports on computer crimes, laws and regulations and as well give an analysis of police officers beliefs, opinions, and attitudes towards cybercrime. The article discusses on the various legal challenges faced by police officers in pursuit of cybercriminals, which make them appear as if they do not at all care about computer-related crimes (Gragido, pg. However, Goodman Mark D gives his own opinions on why the police should care about these crimes despite the challenges faced. This society, according to the article, poses significant threats to the community as these children might be tempted to create more computer-related severe crimes, a significant reason why the police should be concerned about computer crime. Also, digital technologies have eradicated ancient barriers to the offense that were faced by traditional thugs, thieves, and convicts. Significantly, as Goodman Mark D suggests, several recent technological developments will discourage police in their search for cybercriminals, hence need for their unlimited concern in cybercrimes. The primary reason, however, as outlined in the article, why the police should be concerned about a high-technology crime is just because the society has burdened them with the task to do so. ii.
