English Course Reflection Essay

I had set personal goals prior to the beginning of this quarter, most of which I believe that the course has helped me to accomplish successfully. I have learned various types of essays, how to write discussion posts, peer reviewing of other students’ papers and grammar. About the composition process, I have gained a lot. Nonetheless, the two most important insights that I feel override everything else involved the use of references and what I would refer to as five-paragraph style of essay writing. I learned about five-paragraph essay format in the composition process. In fact, I had to correct my paper several times to include a running head in APA format and ensure that I do not include retrieval dates in the reference.
