Louis Armstrong was born in 1901 to parents who were slaves in Louisiana (Armstrong 2001). The Early life of Louis Armstrong was characterized by several challenges with poverty being the main problem. With poverty ravaging his family down Louis Armstrong started a mission that definitely changed the Jazz music forever. By mostly observation Louis Armstrong started to learn aspects of music from the bands that played on the streets. Notable revolution in Louis Armstrong life was his association with Joe Oliver a man who is credited for helping Louis Armstrong. After years of trying to juggle between education and other struggles of life Louis the music arena and as a fighter for the social evils. Jazz music was revolutionized by the discoveries of Louis Armstrong. It is evident that Louis Armstrong formed a bridge between the new Jazz musicians and the old Jazz musicians. Acting as a bridge Louis Armstrong influenced the development of solo band collection where he played instruments and sung concurrently. Ideally Armstrong influenced many musicians and this has been reiterated by his efforts to form a jazz center where talented musicians were coached with the provision of free scholarships.
