Origen and Gregory of Nyssa's Observations on Resurrection
His argument on salvation assume that hell is temporal and is a way of making souls return to God. I find this argument to be false basing on what the scripture says. The bible say there will be an everlasting suffering for those who reject God. They will be thrown in the lake of Fire. Origen argument on salvation therefore cannot be true because the Bible clearly states there will be everlasting punishment for sinners and everlasting joy the righteous. Gregory raises two important assumption about resurrection. if the resurrection of body will occur , then human beings need to shun hopes. In the first assumption, Gregory assumes that if resurrection of the body will return as the bodies into their previous state, then it would be misery and misfortune for humans.
