Name Course Tutor Date Comparison of the Red Riding Hood and Carters in the Company of Wolves Werewolf and Wolf-Alice In the collection of the Bloody Chambers there are short stories that in one way tries to drive one particular theme. In every story there is the depiction of the place of women in the society and how they suffer in the hands of wolves and men who seems to act in the same way. In the story of the Little Red Riding Hood it talks about a little girl who was sent to take to her grandmother some food but met with a man who was a wolf and at the end she was eaten up together with her grandmother by the wolf. In the story of In the Company of wolves it talks about a man who caught a wolf and managed to cut its throat before the the bad sense as in the Company of Wolves. In both they do not show true love to women (Anwell). In all these four stories we see a similarity in the theme portrayed. The author uses different ways of bringing the same theme with different stories. The stories appear to be alike in one way though the major consideration is the theme portrayed.
