Terrorism has been an issue which every country has been fighting over the past years. It has further been referred with the rise of technology which facilitates the construction of deadly weapons which can be used against people to intimidate or take their lives away (Laqueur, 2017). Terrorism of late is reported to be practiced by bombing or mass shootings which claimed the lives of many people. The existence of the increasing numbers of terror groups has posed a threat to the lives of many people more so the people living or operating in rural areas (Jongman, 2017). This paper thus seeks to discuss world terrorism in different aspects such as when they occurred, why, people held responsibly and the fatalities. The attack had a lot of people killed including 40 civilians and 29 militants who were trying to rescue the hostages.

The hostage situation a very long time close to one week leaving most of the hostage to suffer physically and psychologically. Some of the hostages were freed from the facility. Mass shootings in Cameroon In January 2015 4th and 5th, a severe terror attack took place in Fotokol, Cameroon claiming the lives of many civilians. More than 80 people were confirmed dead and more than 500 injured. The police managed to kill them though after killing 16 people and leaving 55 individuals injured. The terror attack was made by the Al-Shabaab members who were on the verge of the Somali war. The country has been in a severe crisis followed by a series of wars and terror attacks. There are also many people who have lost their lives in Somalia making most of the population to seek refuge in the neighboring countries so save their lives (Menkhaus, 2013).
