This research paper study the effects of various systems of reward types on performance and try to determine the type of reward systems that are more valuable to corporate companies based on the modern business dynamics. Also, this study seeks to provide ways of enhancing performance to accomplish the business goals and establishing how the reward systems contribute to such performance. From the empirical studies that have been conducted previously, a positive connection between reward systems, both intrinsic and extrinsic and job performance of the employees has been established. Majority of the companies are found to enact reward systems as a way of increasing job performance and satisfaction at the workplace. Particularly, intrinsic rewards have a greater significance on employee performance.

Besides, some employees are not satisfied with these bonuses since there is a lot of bias involved, such as unfair distribution of the bonuses.
