The role of women has changed dynamically in society due to their willingness to work away from the household as well as the economic constraints leading them to seeking formal employment. Reproductive labor is focused majorly on the well-being and prosperity of the family and by extension the society. This is predominantly done by women and mothers who go as far as risking their health and comfort for the good of the family members (Peterson, 2006). The use of informal set ups at the work place has been seen to reap great economic and financial rewards. It is however a highly controversial aspect of management as most of the individuals in the workforce are there out of necessity rather than willingness. In order to maximize on potential, entities should be focused on acquiring talent regardless of the gender in order to increase its competitiveness and effectiveness on the business front (Roberts, 2015).

Women do not necessarily translate to improved working conditions but ignoring the potential possessed by an individual or their capability in accomplishing certain tasks would be to upset the natural balance of supply and demand. It is necessary to have women in the workforce in order to understand their capability of doing the tasks that have been predominantly assumed to be the role of the male. Avoiding or ignoring women in the workplace would be wrong and would significantly decrease the capability of a business entity and its ability to compete with other similar entities in the marketplace. It is therefore significant to ensure that the business and political landscape is level for both men and women in order to help everyone realize their full potential unhindered.
