A farewell to arms film

The story reminds me of how dreadful war can sometimes be. I witnessed a conflict erupt between my community and the neighboring community regarding land. The conflict reached a level where the members of the two communities fought one another. This happened at a time when I was volunteering as a Red Cross Agent. What I witnessed is sometimes hard to describe. It was sorrowful. This is a reflection of what is described in the novel regarding the impacts of war on families and loved ones. In the novel, Henry remembers how the stream of blood kept flowing. When he asks Catherine what happened to her fiancée, how she responded to the question indicates the devastating impacts of war. The wounds got from war can profoundly affect an individual’s life.
