World War II took place in 1914 and lasted until 1918 having originated from Europe which in turn led to the world organization. It resulted from the frustration of people instigated by the new rules put in place by Adolf Hilter after rising to power. Fascism is a for, of authoritarian power that led to the defeat of the antagonists. Great Depression which took place after World War II affected the world in many ways. It originated in the United States spreading worldwide and lasted for ten years. In the United States, there were changes in family setups as women were forced to work to provide for their families. Children grew up to take the responsibilities meant for grown-ups and the births significantly reduced.

After World War II, political innovations in the United States were established by Franklin D. Roosevelt in an attempt to endure the economic challenges. The Americans learned the importance of democracy from the Europeans and the Japanese. Violence towards African Americans increased after World War II. The blacks suffered immensely such that employment was reduced drastically up to 50% compared to whites whose reduction was up to 30%. Even after joblessness, the salaries of black people were cut by 30%. With Franklin Roosevelt as the president of the United States tried to bring reformation against discrimination of other ethnic groups. He supported the involvement of the African American people in the White House as advisors and also in other sectors of employment otherwise previously reserved for the white people.
