Through think-aloud approach, the teacher models predictions. The things thought about in this process are to be used as hints or clues to help in reading the text. Students are able to learn to be curious about the texts they are going to read. Trying to predict what is in a text before they read using clues, students become creative. The teacher is modeling the ability to interpret information, predict, analyze texts and come to conclusions, very important skills that children can learn. Besides, after the modeling, the students can understand the text more easily. In a nutshell, the teacher was modeling learning for students. Modeling cognitive skills would allow students to gain a deeper understanding of how they think, feel and act (University of Cincinnati, 2018).

Consequently, this modeling will help the students improve their learning and ability. Gaining these skills allow students to become more self-reliant, flexible, and productive. The teacher models confidence, creativity, and independence showing students how they can create their own work. She ensures her students are confident by assuring them that they will always be right in answering questions of art. The teacher in the video makes a big impact to achieve long-lasting effects with modeling by using other behavioral interventions. In addition to modeling, the teacher uses positive reinforcement and cues.
