The Variation in cultures and people

Seng Chang and her husband Lor were accused of child abuse after their four children were discovered to have marks on their bodies. Their children were taken and away from them into state custody, and the couple was forced to defend themselves through the court system by explaining the situation. School workers and police do not understand the cultures of the people. The marks that were perceived to be as a result of parents inflicting pain on their kids were discovered as falsely interpreted. The tattoos were however produced through a traditional Asian healing technique that was known as coining. They should follow a community practice and determine if they amount to infringements of other people’s rights, if not, then the police should respect and defend such practices.

Employees of the elementary school should be aware of several, if not all cultural traditions of the communities that surround them so that they can understand and protect children against molestation and cultural harassments. Racial differences seem to be the cause of conflict in northern Wisconsin. People group themselves into different races and are willing to murder to protect a mate from the same competition. Such acts result in retaliation which could result in the rising of racial tensions among both communities. People will tend to live in harmony for generations to come.
