Ethical Issues in Police Force
Document Type:Coursework
Subject Area:Criminology
Worley and Barua affirm that police have severally been accused of using excessive force in their crime control role( Miller, 2009). Furthermore, the police are further accused of asking for bribes and favours or their duties. On top of that, the police force also experience ethical issues even among their fellow officers within their ranks. It is known that police officers are known to act unethically to their juniors without facing any corrective actions as the powers of their position allow them to do so (Miller, 2009). On other occasions the police are also known to act unethically as they have too much freedom. References Miller Mitchell J. st Century Criminology: A Reference Handbook, Volume 1.
