What evidence is there that the company's competitive advantage stems from difficult-to-replicate knowledge assets? ~ What information technology and systems support can and/or should support KM in your selected organization? ~ What organizational structures (e.g. roles) facilitate the creation, development, and effective deployment of knowledge? Why? What structures pose a problem? Why? ~ What are the mechanisms that enable or disable individual and organizational learning? How? Why? What are the consequences? ~ How does the organization remember what they know? How is organizational memory strengthened (or weakened), updated, and used in particular contexts and through particular procedures and systems? ~ What would you recommend to the company do to further improve the effectiveness of their KM efforts? Deliverable This assignment requires the submission of the following deliverable: Case Study Assessment - (Complete responses addressing the three items listed above, four to five pages in length, formatted as described in the guidelines/requirements below.) Guidelines/Requirements/Formatting Must comply with guidelines defined in the MS-TMGT Manuscript Guide, provided in Doc Sharing (except as indicated otherwise here). For formatting not specified here or in the Manuscript Guide, the guidelines provided in the APA Manual must be followed. Response must be a MS Word document. Required Filename: LastFirst-TMGT513-0xx-Assignment2.docx (LastFirst is you your last and first initial, xx represents the course section in which you are enrolled: 1B, 1W, or 2W. DO NOT use special characters, such as the "#" symbol in the filename.) Length: 4-5 full pages, not including Title and Reference pages. Include Title Page as described in the Manuscript Guide. (An abstract is NOT required.) Include a header on each page after the title page that consists of: Name, CWID, Assignment #, and pg # in the upper right header in 8 point font. (e.g. - Jason Davis, Assignment 2, Pg. 4) Page size: letter (8.5" x 11") All margins 1" Lines double-spaced Font: 12 point, Times New Roman 1/2" indention of first line in each paragraph Text alignment left Use 2 spaces after ending punctuation. Make use of the serial comma (also known as the Oxford Comma or Harvard Comma). A low Similarity Score is expected. Each percentage point over 15% on this assignment will incur a 1 point deduction.
