The magical events and characters make the work more interesting to the reader (Gale 07). Magical realism also helps pass information that cannot be passed by ordinary characters and events. It also set an example of how different world can coexist. The reason behind the use of magical realism is explored by various authors with most of them agreeing with my ideas. Garcia used magical realism in the fiction book to charm the reader. Although Rave further explains that the form of writing is used by authors to express their feelings, its meant for entertainment in some cases. Before the introduction of the extraordinary character in the coastal community, everything is normal and the story is not as charming as after the introduction of the character.

This is the same idea presented by Fludernik (361) in the article on unnatural narratology. Authors also use magical realism to express their feelings. It’s a way of passing a certain message to the reader. In most cases, getting people learn how two different worlds can coexist is difficult. However, the use of magical realism displays an example of how that is possible. It’s meant to make people learn how to accept new ideas from other cultures. The use of magical realism helps people learn that other people from other cultural backgrounds can bring a change. It helps people learn how to coexist with others in peace. It can also be used to drive the authors ideas. It’s a form of expression by the authors to pass a message to the reader.
