The market that will be targeted at first is Ireland and the United Kingdom. The company considered many factors before choosing to focus on this specific market. One of the factors that was considered is the fact that we would not have to deal with the language of language barriers because in Ireland and the United Kingdom, the native language is English and there is no second language. Another factor that was considered is finance. Due to the fact that the company is just starting and does not have enough finances to do carry out marketing in many different markets, we chose to focus on this market because it is an emerging one in which our marketing efforts for the pet minder have a great potential for success.

We also considered the needs of the consumers in this market and why they might need the pet minder to allow us to carry out effective target marketing. We found out that senior citizens here may not be able to bend down to fee their pets, play with their pets or even feed them. In addition, there are many office workers in this area who do not have adequate time to take care of their pets. There are also disabled people who own pets but are unable to take good care of them due to their physical state. Our pet minder is designed to help these people in taking care of their pets as it provided automatic feeding, cleaning, detecting the health of the pets and even playing with them.
