Baccalaureate in Nursing Personal Statement

She needed a person, mostly her family to take care of her. After visiting her several times in the hospital I was able to learn how patients suffer from various diseases and all they needed at that time was health care. I needed to acquire skills in nursing so that I could help my mother at that moment. Having skills in nursing will not only enable me to take care of my family but also deal with different aspects of patients care and make a difference in people’s lives. Helping patients during difficult moments with both technical and non-technical skills in nursing and to make them continue with their daily activities with a good health status is mightily satisfying to me.

I have always had an admiration of studying with a university that impacts a sense of excellence, innovation, integrity, service, compassion and the urge to work with the community. I believe that the institution will help me in achieving both my academic and professional goals based on the content and levels of nursing programs provided by the university. In conclusion, by enrolling in the school I will be able to achieve my dream of becoming a nurse and helping other people. The school offers a good opportunity of nurturing me to become a qualified nurse as well as gain useful skills in nursing. As per my principle of serving others first, I will be able to utilize that by being of help to the patients and other staff in case they need any help.
