(Name) (Instructors’ name) (Course) (Date) Charity Health Care Question 1 Before the class my understanding of the charity Care was that it was a health care that is meant to provide the medical services to the community especially the poor free of charge without collection of any amount from the patients. I knew Charity Care was a non-profit hospital with the intention of offering services to the community additional cash from the government by the hospitals but should be purposefully be used for the facilitation of the care because the government facilitates the operation of such hospitals as well as the exemptions from the taxes. Order Description:

Charity care as it relates to tax-exempt status and healthcare reform is sure to be a top issue in most healthcare facilities, especially those designated as non-profit. For this reason, I included many articles that demonstrate compliance with ACA requirements for "charity care". However, the most striking example of ethical-maneuvering is detailed in the article "The Five Things Hospitals Don't Want You To Know About Obamacare". The title is a bit misleading, since the focus is really on the fiscal manipulation of tax-exempt status as it relates to charity care. Reflecting on the article and the ethical issues is poses, answer the following questions. 1. Prior to this class, what was your level of knowledge regarding "Charity Care" requirements in general or within your organization? 2. From a healthcare leader perspective in a non-profit organization, why is it important to reallocate cash gained from additional Medicaid patients back into the organization? Explain your logic using data and additional references. 3. From a healthcare leader perspective, is the funneling of additional cash from additional Medicaid patients as a result of the ACA considered an ethical practice, why or why not? AcademicGlory, is amazing! I didn't intend to assign my paper to her at such a late notice, but I did and she did exceedingly well with my assignment, and returned it back before its due time. I must say she has a beautiful personality, and she was very understanding, and helpful.
