However, educationalist has become aware of this issue; thus are now implementing strategies that aim at making math subject enjoyable and game-like. Thus, the introduction of game-based learning has become one of the most effective strategies for increasing confidence and understanding of math concepts. There is no secret that games are widely common among kids and directing this interest towards boosting math skills. As a result, this essay attempts to examine the way using game-based learning strategy specifically the bingo game can enhance math fluency. Bingo Game Model The mathematic bingo is among the effective models of learning that has been adapted from the bingo game. Games do not only entertain but rather deepens the connections between players and allows for better learning.

For example, playing angle bingo game can offer rich opportunities for enhancing math skills. Offenholley (2012) found that students who spend most of the hours playing video games do a lot of calculations. However, these video games arouse and activate their mind; thus end up provoking task performance. In addition, games enable players to pick up problem-solving strategies through trial and error. For example, the teacher can bring in bingo cards with random vocabulary words on it. He/she will instruct students to mark X on the square card once they hear that vocabulary word. After that, they can shout “bingo” after they get 5 in a row. Introducing bingo cards in the math classroom can help reduce the fear of dealing with complex multiplications; thus improving learning ability.
