The discussion in this paper therefore provides a clear view of the organization’s leadership. This paper is therefore a reflection of leadership skills practices that promoted positive progress in Purdue University with the impacts of the leadership organization on the institution’s performance capacity. Purdue University is an educational institution committed to student success through the provision of nationally-recognized and student-centered success initiatives and services. The university leadership ensures healthy inter-departmental connection which ensures progressive stages of student development with an aim of increasing student degree completion capacity, provision of employment-favored curriculum and dedicated citizens to the state, nation and world leadership ("Organizational Chart - Student Success Programs - Purdue University,"). The university leadership is segregated to ensure that every department has its set role in ensuring the success of the institution.

I therefore fell that I need to change the approach to set my goals as well those of the organization I manage to ensure that they ate achievable and attainable. Optimism is important but should not exceed the capacity of an individual or an organization to attain the set goals. Working for the attainment of the institution’s objectives, I feel that abilities and devotion are the driving power that would greatly benefit the university in the realization of its goals. I also possess a good relationship ability with people and enhanced communication skills which would ensure that the entire Purdue University fraternity improves its cohesion. Positive leadership skills have great influences on institutional organizational capacity in that leaders brings together all departments to ensure attainment of a common organizational goal (Root III, 2011).
