The authors of these journals try explaining the strategic techniques that have been put in place to help these children learn better as well as the measures have been taken regarding the situation. Introduction The attention deficit attention disorder has been noted in various studies to closely relate to the learning disabilities observed n children. It is a brain disorder that brings inattention to the child, hence causing low rates of development, and poor functionality. ADHD is a disease that does not require the testing of an individual’s blood or any other bodily fluids during its examination. Some of the other issues related to this disease include behavioral change, as well as negative attitude. Snack eatin and drinking of sodas are some of the symptoms associated with children with ADHD since they did those things more often as compared to the other kids who did not have the dsorder.

Eating habits may go hand in hand with the use of electronics but in some cases they occur independently. Even on school days, children with ADHD disorders ae known to use their computers more (Tong& Tan, 2016). The underlying causes of the APHD medical disorder vary from one individual to the other. Some of the homogenous diet interventions that were applied in this research included poly-unsaturated fatty acid(PUFA), artificial food color elimination(AFC), and a few-foods diet(FFD). For the 4 to 16 weeks that the PUFA changes were given, both omega -3 PUFA or -6 PUFA were used alternatively or at the same time ( Toorman, & Rodrigues 2007)The doses during these times could range from 120 to 2430mg per day. The FFD interventions could either consist of either an FFD or a food specified challenge which in this case lasted for 1-2 weeks.

Some of the foods that were used for the FFD challenge included potatoes, rice, lamb, bananas brassica, and apples. The previously conducted meta-analyses were used for reference during either AFC elimination or PUFA supplementation. However, one out of all the six meta-analyses the study design and the outcome measures (Tong& Tan, 2016). However, based on the results obtained, the general population of children can be treated in accordance with the FFD studies. This could only be possible if the parents allowed the treatments to take place. Moreover, it is important for the parents to take know that all the foods given to the children can cause ADHD. It was noted that there was an additional merit to the FFD challenge studies. In each of the challenge studies, a confirmation was done in a DBPC situation based on the open parental results attained previously to randomization.

Later, this term was developed when a particular boy was noted to have an inability to maintain attention in a notable degree of consistency to a particular object. ADHD in most cases is caused by genetic factors and also rearly the brain damage which can occur during the early life os an individual. This two causes can nteract together and cause the same disease. However other social aspects and drug abuse are related to various mental disorders but they are rearly linked to ADHD in any case. Some parents hide their children away from socialization when they discover that they hae this problem but that is not the right way to handle the situation. The section 504 of the vocational rehabilitation act has initiated the use of classrooms interventions for the students suffering from this disorder.

The same act has been applied to advocate for the general education accommodation plans. (Ferlini& Neri, 151). The main recommendations associated with these plans include the classroom interventions amongst other environmental amendments meant to suit the needs of these students. More emphasis is being put on the increments of the behavioral interventions such that they would be conducted more frequently. Studies have indicated that the behavior of students with ADHD worsens through the course of the day. Therefore, the non-academic activities should be scheduled in the afternoon when the student’s problem-solving capabilities are very poor. While making an effort to maintain the attention of the students, you need to come up with a highly motivating novel presentation that is highly interesting.

It is a way of increasing stimulation and reduces activity level while at the same time enhancing the levels of attention and general performance (Ferlini& Neri,151). This is the actual teaching process where points are clearly highlighted and elaborated. It is a way of reminding the students the importance of monitoring their on-task behavior (Ferlini& Neri, 151). Students need to be allowed to set their own pace when performing their tasks. Self-pacing amongst the ADHD students helps reduce the intensity of the difficult behaviors. As compared to when the pacing is done by others, there is a significant difference. Pros and cons of using the behavioral intervention technique This is a technique that requires the instructor to manipulate the brain functionality of a child in a class by engaging his or her behavior.

The students will need to have writing materials with them since I will be teaching note-taking strategies. Prerequisites: the students must have at least some listening skills because most of the instructions will be given in oral form. I decided to teach the notes-taking skills after I observed that some of them did not know how to keep records of the simple dilly tasks I had asked them to record earlier in the day. Session Objective(s): to ensure that at least half of the members of the class can be able to record a sentence in their note-books or two dictated orally. Alignment with IEP: note-taking is an activity conducted in all academic areas and therefore I will be preparing them for their future encounters in notes taking.

This will get the students thinking before I can introduce the rest of the data. Some of the students may have an idea of the topic being introduced and I would ask them to explain the others. Lesson Development: just like any other concept of the study, the students will need to understand the importance of the significance of the skill both on academic levels and in the real world as well. The class will be an interactive procedure and the students will also engage in the peer tutoring activities as the class progresses. Guided Practice: at this point, I may decide to ask one of the students to act as the teacher while I make notes on the chalkboard, and the students will know how to identify the main points of a particular subject.
