These may incorporate the potential and existing customers, marketing approaches applied in the business, the nature of the business or its products and services among many other factors (Das, 2017). Therefore, in determining the business’s name, or that of its services and products, businesses need to carry out research, as the brand they choose would influence their operations. Moreover, appropriate online marketing strategies need to be adopted. In this context, the branding of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) would be evaluated. In addition, the effectiveness of the organization’s online marketing strategy would be assessed. Its brand is based on the Alaska Native tribe, the organization loses patients, who may be tribal-sensitive, to the competitors. An extensive branding would accommodate those patients who are not Alaska natives but lives in Alaska and other regions.

Although the organization would defending its branding, it is in the risk of losing more patients to its top competitors. Among its top competitors includes Providence St. Joseph Health, Peacehealth and South Peninsula Hospitals, Inc. For example, I suggest that the organization rebrand the product to Sponsored Health Insurance Program. Not only will the new brands attract more patients, but the people’s perception towards its operations and existence. This would substantially improve its public image, as it will be viewed as a not-tribal organization. The ANTHC online marketing strategy The ANTHC has incorporated various marketing strategies. Online selling is the highly integrated online marketing by the organization. The website as well needs to incorporate changes enabling patients to book for medical services online.

Also, customer relation needs to be improved on the website. In this case, the organization may design ways in which patients would communicate with the technicians directly, thus being advanced on which prescriptions to take online. Where the disease or symptoms are minor. In addition to website selling, the organization need to adopt other online marketing techniques. As earlier mentioned, the rebranding of Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium to simply Alaska Health Consortium would have a significant effect on its operation. Although it may seem like a slight change, it causes a substantial change in the people’s perception. In addition, the essay discusses the need for the ANTHC to adopt an advanced online marketing strategy. The need to extend the website and introduce other marketing strategies like social media and online ads would improve its popularity.
