In case of complicated situations, the approach helps in making sound solutions. When it comes to health workers, assessment is critical in the development of the community. Some of the social workers in the community include counselors who help families, individuals, and organizations on matters of personal issues or even party activities. The information collected shows the prevailing condition of the person under psychological condition. For example, when a person has stress and withdrawn, the counselor must collect information about the progress and the client.

The information collection is an important part of the assessment since it helps eliminate bias. The data is recorded to ensure that the whole process will be completed without a challenge. The handling of the information is vital for the whole course of the assessment. The social worker carriers detailed information search about the medical condition in the past life. Still, detailed information is collected on the past to master the current condition. The complaint issues are recorded, and the family history is also taken into account. Things like past accidents which could have affected the individual are taken into action. The process of identification of the condition of the individual ensures that the right information is collected. Collection of information helps in elimination of guesswork in the process of assessment. The counselor in this case also makes it simpler for the other social workers to handle the condition. The process of diagnosis eliminates situation whereby the persona is given the wrong assessment. The family history is a distinctive part of the information collected. The data is filed and used in the decision-making process. Then, there are also the diagnostic and formative practices in the course of counseling assessment. The objective of the diagnostic stage or practice is to differentiate the many types of the conditions and then deal with the right condition.

Things like the past of the individual are very important practices. The course of treatment should, therefore, be done in the right manner. Some of the other practices in the assessment include confidentiality and communication in the right manner. The practices in the course of assessment are crucial for the benefit of the individual at hand. Practices of the ethical code of conduct are essential in the whole course. For example, there should be value for human life and confidentiality of the whole process. The condition of the individual hence guides the process of counseling. People with very severe conditions such high level of stress or drug and substance abuse need extra care and promotion of the individuals. The objective is to promote fair treatment process after the assessment process.

The interaction of the social workers is significant in the course of service delivery. The process of interaction ensures that there is a creation of the interactive environment for sharing details on the condition on hand (Jordan & Franklin, 2013).
