This article has therefore provided a vast source of information to many scholars on matters concerning students. Introduction  Problems are encountered daily by every human in various and different endeavors in life. Problems might be defined as hindrances to one’s goal or an aim. Despite the hindrances brought forth by these problems, it is natural that every problem has a solution. Findings  Among the reasons that account on differences in levels in problem-solving skills flanked by the gifted students and other students is founded on three virtues that attribute to proper skills on solving problems; self-confidence, avoidance and control. According to research, it was found that gifted students had a higher ability to solve problems due to them having the above-mentioned virtues.

With these virtues, students can tackle any kind of problem. With self-confident, a gifted student is psychologically ready to solve the problem despite the magnitude of the problem. Self-control helps the students to overcome any obstacles that pave the way in the process of solving a problem (Ucar et al, 2017 pg. It would be better if the surveys would be replicated to give out very accurate information which would be reliable. Also, in surveying, a bigger sample should be used since bigger samples account for better outcomes. Also, I would suggest better methods of data collection like introspection. This method is undoubtedly the best in this case. This is due to the chance given to the students to express them. Furthermore, this review can help answer questions on differences of classwork performance between the gifted students and the normal students.
