I would then ensure that I encourage them to think of newer strategies to cope with the change since it is here to stay. As a substantive measure, I would also encourage any creative ideas to improve conditions within the new rules and work on them (Luthans, 2004). In a job I worked at a few years ago, my supervisor was one of the best leaders I have come to work with. In the organization, a school, I worked with the administrative head for six months in a job that I enjoyed every part of. For me and the rest of the staff working under the manager, work was easier, more enjoyable and improved my problem solving skills. In the vehicle, an assistant accompanied the manager to allow more work to be handled even in traffic jams.

In the afternoon, back in the office, there was a lighter workload and were used to go through reports, meet with the institution’s head and forward mail to the relevant recipients. On all Friday afternoons, the manager would take two hour meetings with the various groups in the organization; students, support staff, teaching staff and the administrative heads. Strengths Proper, direct communication was what I saw as most important to the leader’s ability. For him, it was not just his official duty to maintain communication in the office, but rather to develop trust in the office. For every leader, building a team is probably the most important element of the responsibilities. Leaders have to understand that their work is useless without a team that understands and appreciates the leader’s manifesto (Holmes, 2012).
