Document 1

This article explores the reasons and factors that led to the extinction of dinosaurs from the face of the earth. The author discusses that the temperature that was drastically rising could not support the life of dinosaurs’ sperm cells thus the male dinosaurs were sterilized, (Gould 450). The evolution of living organisms brought the existence of angiosperms which some are bitter. Since the dinosaurs were not able to taste bitter and sweet, it led to them consuming lots of angiosperm plants thus overdosing. The overdose could not be rectified by their livers which were not highly specialized thus led to their death without reproducing. This article connects with an article posted in Science News for Students. Sumner Thomas wrote the article and posted on 31st January 2017.
