Transfer Personal Statement

The most exciting thing about my academic progress is that I have never taken a break all through my education as it has been smooth. This has created a positive impact on me as I am confident that I will complete higher education at the right age. I plan to finish my undergraduate school by the time I reach mid 20's. The primary reason for leaving Seattle College is to get a 4-year university education. In so doing, I will gain more knowledge in business, which is my field of specialization. Working in those regions will offer me better career opportunities to grow professionally. I prefer formal employment because as an employed certified public accountant, I can rise through the ranks of a company to become a chief financial officer, budget director, or company executive.

However, to reach my career aspiration, I need the necessary knowledge and expertise. Accordingly, I am seeking transfer to the University of Washington so that I can attain further knowledge and expertise in accounting and economics. The institution attracts me because academics are unparalleled and it is not easy to find a more engaged faculty and students at any other university in Washington. Notably, cultural exchange is one of the aspects that will shape my education while studying at the University of Washington. I will learn how Americans work and operate businesses as well as how they behave. Whereas there are many things to learn about Americans, my presence in America will make me a cultural ambassador. In essence, I will help Americans understand the Chinese culture better.
