Persuasive Speeches_Policy Change / Refutation (Example)

TOPIC: TURNING BACK TO GOD SPECIFIC PURPOSE: To persuade my audience to consider turning back to God in all systems of their lives. THESIS STATEMENT: The need to change our ways is becoming more urgent every day. Schools administrative systems and social spheres have abandoned God in their lives. The more people turn from God the more wraths they will get. Schools have become a brooding nest for most atrocities mentionable. Drug abuse has taken the toll at a concerning rate; alcohol consumption has also risen tremendously just as criminal acts. The only explanation is that we chose a different role model instead of God. INTRODUCTION Back in 1962 a simple prayer of dependence and acknowledgment of God guided every school. With time indifferences and intolerances to God caused the removal of that subtle prayer. That act became the beginning of the biggest downfall of the human race (Sampson). argument to achieve logical conclusions. The three fallacies to avoid while writing my persuasive speech are; missing the point by making inferences that contradict the original conclusion of individual claims. I should also avoid the Post hoc as one event is not always the cause of a previous occurrence. A weak analogy should get avoided by making relevant appropriate comparisons to get the best conclusion in my speech. Basing my statement on fact and not opinions will guarantee its strong impact on the intended audience. Works Cited . "Principles : Atheismuk". N.p. 2016. Web. 9 Feb. 2016. . If I could give 10 or a million stars I would. Simmyzwrite is phenomenal. Very friendly and easy to talk and work with, glad we could co-labor together. Everything was perfect, I gave my instructions, but the end product was above and beyond what I expected. God is so Good! Thank you Jesus for my new friend. God bless you today and always.
