They change from bluish-white to grey. Sfumato: It is evident in the from elbow to the wrist of the man clutching Socrates(the old man at the center wearing grayish blue cape. Emotions/Dramatic :Most of the men around Socrates are showing emotional distress as portrayed in the man leaning against a wall.

JPG Balance: There is asymmetrical balance in the paint portrayed by the small boy at the center, the woman leaning to the right and the man sleeping facing the left opposite direction. Chiaroscuro: It is evident in the creases found on the sheet covering Hector Sfumato: It is depicted in the sleeping man from his waist all through to his armpits Linear perspective: converging Lines are portrayed in the top of the helmet placed just after the woman’s right foot. Aerial perspective: Art work does not contain this element. Emotions/Dramatic: There are emotions depicted in the painting with the woman stretching his hands towards the sleeping man while looking away in distress. The young boy leans on hhis mother like if they are comforting her.
