A myth is a complete sensorial realism, self-sufficient and rich, a saying that describes memories, values, and knowledge1. Barthes reconnoitered the idea of myths in his exertion of mythologies where he illustrated several instances of how myths have affected modern society. The theory of mythology is an extension to the concept of semiotics. Semiology suggests a connection between the signified and the signifier. According to Roland Barthes, myth is a semiological method and when meanings become accepted as natural or normal, they act as theoretical maps of meaning by which to make logic of the sphere. Barthes used mythology to represent word culture during those days. A mythology is a text or a book of existing cultural studies. Today television is used widely as a medium of conveying information and as a form of entertainment.
