The death of young people does not occur naturally but they are as a result of committing suicide (Johansson, Lars, and Anders 32). Learning and knowing the causes of teen suicide may lead to better prevention. Even if total prevention may be impossible, to some extent it is good to have an idea of what causes the suicide so that one can help the troubled teenagers. This paper, therefore, is aimed to discuss the causes of teenagers’ suicides and the best ways to prevent it. It is very complex to understand the reason behind teens suicide. There are several causes of teenage suicide. Emotional changes cause suicide among the teens. Many of the teens who have been interviewed after they try to commit suicide say that they try to do so because they feel helpless and hopeless with life (Johansson, Lars, and Anders 35).

The teens who commit suicide believe that there is no solution to the problems they face. The teens who view the world in this perspective see nothing important rather than death hence they commit suicide. This period also is engulfed with a lot of stress where it is at this age that one looks for sexual identity and establish a lasting relationship. One wants to be independent and this may conflict with the rules and the requirements of others. The feeling of depressed, ignored, and poor friendship causes a teen to commit suicide (Wasserman, Danuta, and Guo-Xin 114). A child may also feel oppressed by the parent at this age and instead of thinking on how to cope with life, he/she thinks of ending life and commits a suicide.
