These activities enable an individual to pursue a healthy life and acquire personal fitness, which is an essential component for development and unremitting well-being (Johnson et al, 2016). This paper aims at discussing the scientific literature review encompassing the subject of personal fitness in the past two years, examining interview responses from two interviewees on the benefits of exercises as well as drafting a personal reflection on the noticeable benefits of exercising. Primarily, there is a huge difference between engaging in physical activity and exercise, although both terms remain used interchangeably. Physical activity refers to a body movement created by skeletal muscles, which outcomes in energy use past resting consumption. On the other hand, exercise is a sub-category of physical involvement that is strategic, organized, recurrent, and determined with an aim of upkeep of personal fitness (Després 2016).

Particularly, the writer stressed on the constructive outcomes regarding consistent practicing of aerobic nature on human body immunity, defense in resistance to infections plus on personal satisfaction, which would stress the significance regarding physical exercise alongside enhancing the general perspective encompassing sporting activities by society (Dobbins et al, 2017). Part II: Interview responses In this section, I will discuss the responses from an interview I conducted with two respondents on the benefits, other than physical; they have received from doing exercises. Apparently, I interviewed a male and a female respondent, who gave varied responses on the advantages as well as the satisfaction they gained in carrying out routine exercises and physical activities that helped in shaping their health and well-being. The first respondent was a male participant who highlighted various benefits of doing exercises with respect to personal fitness.

Some of the benefits emphasized by the male respondent include improving personal moods, stimulating better sleep, increases energy, brings enjoyment and satisfaction as well as improving sex life. This is because estrogen, which is stored in form of fat, heightens the risk of breast cancer when stored in higher levels (Katzmarzyk et al, 2017). Thus, staying active helps a woman in preventing the risk. Further, the respondent maintained that working out helps in improving sex life by increasing sexual response in women and making one feel desirable due to the stimulation of adrenaline hormones that creates the mood. Lastly, the respondent reasoned that exercises help in improving the skin by enhancing blood flow to the skin as well as producing sweat, which helps in unblocking skin pores and clearing breakouts of the superficial oil and dirt.
