This is along with their exertion of resources from the healthcare system in their care. To this, a fundamental question is raised on what would be the moral decision to take in such a situation. From the introductory stages of the cases, it is established that the moral stance that one takes overly depends on the moral theory and perspective that they subscribe to. By Kantian Ethics, the decision that is to be made in the presented case scenario is purely based on the consequences that would follow such a decision (Wood, 145). It would require that the medical practitioners and the parents evaluate the situation from the perspective of the child and the quality of life that they would lead. This is the ethical duty that Kantian ethics would propose.
