Research Paper

As discussed in Module 4, please read the following article as a starting point: Williams, Oliver. “The Modern Corporation: Origins, Evolution, Attributes,” Journal of Economic Literature, Volume 19, Issue 4, 1981, pp. 1537-1568. Please summarize the critical ideas discussed in the article and do more research to answer the following question: "WHY DOES THE MODERN CORPORATION EXIST" Please work independently and every one will work on the same topic. The individual research papers will be thorough research projects. Topics are assigned by the instructor at the outset of the semester. The research projects have a policy flavor and select papers may be presented and analyzed in class discussion towards the end of the semester. The research papers should be: a. Thorough. Issues should be analyzed in-depth. b. Include solid bibliographical references to substantiate a student's points and arguments. The bibliographical references will be academic journals and other professional publications. The research papers will be 20 plus pages total. It will contain:  Title Page (Title and Author’s info)  Abstract (2nd Page, single spaced)  Introduction  Literature Review  Discussion  Summary and Conclusions  References.
