SUMMARY
The treatment of Achilles tendon lesions is still controversial. Even the usual Bunnell strategy of suture is treasured to be always a good ones, it is material associated with a minimal rate of reruptures. To be able to increase the suture durability, we modified the original Bunnell suture by using two sutures in Bunnell manner, one starting from the superior and the other from the poor tendon stumps. The manner of repairing the knots is in double items and realizes an excellent tight fitting when compared to a Bunnell suture. We used this suture in four conditions of unintentional section and in 11 circumstances of serious rupture, with no reruptures.
