Student name Professor Subject Date Paying College-Athletes The current NCAA – National Collegiate Athletic Association is very different from the one that was formed eight decades ago. When it was formed the nature of NCAA was to offer financial support to coaches and supervisors in college sports. At that time the manner in which NCAA performed its duties indicated that it was a non-profit organization. However in the contemporary society NCAA seems to have lots of money because it can afford to pay the coaches and other people in the supervising department incredibly huge salaries. Nevertheless the association is still adamant not the students will inculcate the culture of saving which will be of great help in the future. All in all college students should not be denied payments and salaries on the pretense of rules and regulations. The laws should be changed to ensure that college athletes are paid.
