The rewilding of Grizzly Bears particularly will restore the ecosystem and enhance its complexity and diversity. For example it was noted that the absence of these animals brought about “…a huge missing ecosystem component” (Carey 1). Therefore, rewilding is a means for protecting habitats, creating corridors that allow the animals to move as well as reintroduce predators such as the Grizzlies. There are numerous good reasons that the Grizzly Bear should be returned into California, with ecological benefits being at the center. In addition, there are cultural benefits that are associated with the reintroduction of these animals because they prompt people to rethink about the significant benefits of nature (Mark 1). It has been established that the restoration of the natural environment assist in reducing stress from the surrounding communities.
