There are different parts of literature, which are present or absent because of the genre and the style. But still, there is a list which includes seven the most important parts of the literature. What are they? Firstly, it is a character. It is the first and the most important part because the character should be everywhere in the literature. It can be presented in the text as the person in a work of fiction or as the characteristics of the person.
The second one is the theme. It means about what this text is. Sometimes the authors give much information in the title, but definitely, they should make an intrigue which will attract the attention of readers. They will want to know about what the text is.
The third part is a plot. It answers the question ‘why?’. The plot in the literature draws the reader into the lives of the characters and helps to understand the choices and decisions which characters make. The structure of the plot is the way in which the elements of the story are arranged. Writers vary this structure depending on the needs of the certain story.
The point of view is the fourth part of the literature. Just remember, that there is someone between the reader and the action of the story. Of course, it is the author of the book, story or something else. It is important to consider while reading the story that there is the angle of vision and the details and events are described according to the author’s relation to them.
The fifth one is setting. It is well-known fact that the writer describes the world which they know. Sounds, sights, textures and colors are painted in the words. Usually, a writer imagines the story which happens in the place and it is rooted in his/her mind. All the setting is created by language. The author should tell the readers about the weather conditions, place, time and social conditions of the events which are described in the story.
Conflict is the sixth part of literature. It creates the plot and the conflict is the essence of the fiction. There are different kinds of the conflict. They are human versus society, human versus human, human versus nature and human versus self.
And the last important part of literature is its tone. This term means the emotional coloring or the emotional meaning of the work. It also provides an extremely important contribution to getting the full meaning of what the author means by the certain words.
