Nowadays there is nothing strange and unusual in the cloning of some life forms and development of genetic engineering. Taking into account all these pieces of information, there is the question about the morality of actions of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and now it is more important than ever. However, the lessons from the famous novel can be learned and applied in the modern advanced world concerning the technological aspect.
According to the opinion of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, it was morally acceptable to give the life for his creation. Creation of Frankenstein needed a companion. And if the doctor knows that the first creation was evil, should he make the second one? Taking into account these pieces of knowledge and information, it seems to be not morally correct to bring another monster into our world.
Remaining his family in mind, the doctor when looks at this problem, begins his work on the creating the second monster. Frankenstein and even all members of his family are threatened by the first monster. It is noticed that the monster said to Frankenstein that it would make him so wretched. It was trying to scare Frankenstein not for creating his mate, and this monster resorted to threats. The condition was in the following. If the good doctor creates the companion for the first creation, he may be endangering others. Dr. Victor Frankenstein says upon looking back at his own work that it is the most miserable monster that he created. It was considered to be that another monster will have the twice power and possibility which the evil had, and this may hurt and even kill the family. So if Dr. Victor Frankenstein commits the moral sin of creating the second monster, he might be rid of the both monsters for the times. Monster promises that with the companion who will be created by Dr. Frankenstein, it will be quite the neighborhood of man. If the doctor finishes his work what is the first creation’s mate there will be a chance that both monsters will not keep their promises and stay in European countries. The reason of their staying is that they will be going to evoke fear into the townfolk.
As we know, the good doctor bases on the acts of moral. That is why he destroys the monster for the good and further development of the world. That is why now humanity lives in the peace and in the protected and calm world. But, in fact, these both monsters potentially can take over and get everything whatever they want and please.
